Activity Days Pool Party

I am one of the leaders for the 8-11 year old girls at church. Twice a month we have activities for the girls that are usually Christ centered. They are usually planned with specific goals in mind to bring the girls closer to their Heavenly Father and to help them learn how to serve others and develop talents. However, because they are young, we try to throw in some that are just for fun activities. This was our summer kick off just for fun activity.
One of the members of our ward let us come take over her backyard and use her pool. She and her husband even had a table with a table cloth, and an ice chest filled with ice and cold bottles of water for us!
We had an opening and closing prayer, we brought some refreshments (as did some of the girls) to share and the girls literally just swam the whole time.
One of my co-leads has a son she had to bring along as her husband was out of town so I brought Brayden along so he would have a buddy to hang out with.
My co-lead also brought her daughter along to act as lifeguard for us :)

 Here's the whole group of girls: Haley O, Hailey R, Elaine, Natalie O, Julianna M, Jasmine, Rebekah J, Emily, McKay, Jade, Amy, Alana, Karissa, Kayla, Rebekah R and Natalie S. (yes we have 2 "Hayley's", 2 Natalie's, 2 Rebekah's and we have 2 Julianna's but only one was there) shew! That's a lot of girls...we were missing like 5 of our active girls too!
